  My dad said, when I am ready, i can get a new rabbit, he even got me in contact with a breederlol!!!
  
  He said he too, has to pay his condolences (spelled right?) And he is going to let me get a small order from BB every 2 months for a year. I have absolutely no idea why, but I am really happy! BB is like the best rabbit site ever, and I would just like BB to know! I mean, if my friend hadn’t told me about BB In don’t think I would’ve known how to take proper care of my beloved Panda (Rip <3 ). I am so happy!!!!!!!!!

  Lizzie: Definately!! lol. He is sweet. At first he didn’t even know about bunnies. And since I had Panda, he has now realized that they need the right care! And he jsut got our chichillas an new pen. He loves aanimals! But I think he’s gone a little pet-crazy lol!!!!!!!!!!!!

  That’s nice of him. Don’t rush into getting a new bunny just yet if you’re not ready tho. There are always going to be buns that need homes when you are emotionally ready to take that step.

  That’s great! It also spares you the trouble of trekking around your home town trying to locate the right food at the right price, which I know used to put so many miles on my car before I found the BB site.
  
  Pandorachick, please forgive me for having a terrible memory (I’m told it’s stress because I refuse to think it’s age) but I am confused about your bunny situation.
  I know you just lost your lovely Panda, so you don’t have any bunnies at the moment, right? I just thought you had mentioned a rescue bunny or a foster bunny last fall when you joined, so wondered if that was Panda or someone else. Are you shopping around for a new one with breeders, rescue shelters and pet stores now? (It makes sense to meet many bunnies before taking a new one home, btw. They tend to pick YOU, rather than the other way around.) Or are you researching where to go for a new one? Again, forgive my confusion. Thanks.

  RabbitPam: Yes, I totally understand the confusion! lol I just lost my sweet PAnda </3 And I had a foster bunnyy, Tiki. She found a wonderful home 5 or 6 weeks ago, before Panda passed. And I am looking fr bunnies. So far I have looked at about 50! lol. I am just waiting for the right one. I will know it when it see it, I’m sure I am meeting with a breeder on Friday. But if I don’t find one there (At her place) then I am going for SaveABunny!!! I think SaveABunny is my best option! I found a bun on their site… It has ther same name as me too!! Bethany, it is! lol!! I was looking on the humane society website too. Also, great news- I found a rabbit savvy in my area!! Thanks to BB!!

  Oh I hope you decide to adopt from SaveABunny! They are all so sweet and lovely. If we get a second bun, it will be from them. I’m sorry to hear about your sweet Panda.

  Oh…yeah SaveABunny is in Mill Valley, CA. I’m sure there is a bunny rescue near you though! I might even be able to find one for you. Where are you located, if you don’t mind me asking?

  Thanks for the explanation. I didn’t think you were near SaveABunny, either. One good place to find rescues near you is to search Petfinder.com for rabbits, after putting in your zip code. It will bring up lists of bunnies available for adoption (or sale) but is much more legitimate and safe than craigslist.
  You don’t necessarily have to like a specific bunny listed, just cruise through and check out the names and locations of the shelters advertising there within driving distance. A legit. one will have its own website, and usually link to it, then you can see their current info. and contact info. to see who they have available. I learned about a local foster group that way once.

  Craiglsist is where I got my buns from. It was actually a breeder that posted that had an unexpected litter. You just have to be careful when you’re using that site. Petfinder is an awesome site too, but no where near as awesome as your dad for offering to buy you stuff from BB!
