Forum BEHAVIOR baxter not pooing in his litter box!!??

        so i got baxter about a month and a half ago so hes about 3 and a half months old,  and he pees in his litter box all the time hes never gone out of it but he always seems to poo everywere in his cage he sometimes uses his litter box to poo  but not often. is there anyway to get him to take his poos inside the litter box and he will be neutered when hes old enough, if thats going to help ,and hes my first rabbit and hes so awsome but im still not  know how to deal with all this .  thanks

          Same here! maybe it’s because they’re still a bit young and need time before being completely clean? I was also thinking that maybe the cage we bought was to large, so he didn’t really see any reason to have a pooping corner rather then the whole thing, what king of rabbit cage do you have jake?

          On the brighter side, poo is quite easy to clean out compared to pee.

              poos are a bun’s way of marking territory. It will lessen as the palce becomes his. Also, after he is neutered, it will also taper off. Until then, buy a dust buster. Works great.
