**Update**
I went out for about an hour, came home and found a huge mass of cecals and normal poops…there were some normal poops in the box too and he seems more active! He is now in his pen eating like he’s never seen food before in his life!
Last evening my mom was over and petting the buns, Bandit was flaked out and she said his belly felt hard to her. When he stood up I tried to get a good feel but he hops away (he thinks we are going to pick him up). I looked in his litterbox after she left and found 2 poo’s stuck together by a wad of hair and 2 stuck together by a small string of hair. I fed them supper which he was ready and waiting for and then I let them out for free time, he seemed a little less active but not too bad. He got in the litterbox in the living room and started munching away on hay and then I could smell onion/skunk coming from the box
. I thought oh good hes passing gas. He then started doing some zoomies. This morning he seemed like he wasnt feeling great he ate his breakfast salad and came looking for his little taste of banana. After I could hear some gas sounds so I gave him some baby gas drops. He ate a bunch of hay and had some really soft smelly poops with some normal ones. His belly seems a little taught but its not totally bloated. They only diet change we had was hes gotten romaine instead of spring mix the last couple days. He’s a little prone to gas.
My first instinct is omg! VET!!! but he also gets super stressed going to the vet ( the good bunny vet is 40 mins away) I dont want to make things worse for him. They last time he went to the vet he didn’t eat for an entire evening and I flipped my noodle. Can anyone say bunny hypochondria?!?! Any one have any suggestions?!
