Whilst brushing Nugget today, I noticed a rather large bald spot on his back. He always casts A LOT, but I’ve never seen a bald spot on him before. He seems completely unbothered by it – he’s not scratching at himself and is still his usual self.

He did have an infection last year, that he got an injection for on his back very close to where the bald spot is – am I overreacting? Could it just be the fur hasn’t grown back entirely after his injection? (They trimmed/shaved his hair I’m told – my mum was the one who had him seen to as I was away studying for a few months).

Sometimes fur doesn’t entirely grow back after shaving. My rabbit Roxi has a bit of a bald spot on her stomach from her spay. Does the area look red or flaky in any way?
