If I sprinkle baking soda in her litterbox (bottom, under the litter) or one her carpet and she happens to lick it or something will it hurt her?

rabbits have very furry feet- much more so than a cat.  And bunnies are such clean animals that they groom often.  The baking soda will not necessarily hurt the bunny- but is has a lot of sodium in it- and that can cause the bunny to drink more, and excess sodium is not beneficial.

I think others here have tried baking soda in the litterbox- but I can’t imagine that it would be terribly effective once it gets wet with urine.  I personally would not use it- you would have better odor control with more frequent box changes or other natural odor eliminators that do not afffect the rabbit or litterbox directly.

I agree with KatnipCrzy, it does have a lot of sodium and there have been mixed results with it. Some have sprinkled it between sheets of newspaper to minimize the chance that the rabbit will lick it up. What type of litter are you using? Perhaps a switch will help the odor control as I know that some brands/kinds/types are better than others.
