            Some clarification would be appreciated! The only thing I can think of would be baking soda for odor reduction. I think it’s better to go with a type of litter that absorb odor well, like horse stall pellets or wood stove pellets (without accelerants).

            I think baking soda outside of the cage would be more or less completely useless for odor control. If your bun gives off an odor, they could have a health problem. Neutered and spayed rabbits shouldn’t smell much. Some buns smell because they need their scent glands cleaned.

                I wouldn’t use baking soda anywhere near the rabbit(s), period! It’s a respiratory irritant.
