I got Baylor, my rabbit, a new litter to try because his litter was out of stock, and the best kind I could find is a paper pellet litter which is meant for cats. It says it has baking soda in it for odor control and I was wondering if that’s ok for rabbits?

I have seen the same kind of litter and I am wondering the same thing!

I would not use it due to ingestion risks. The following topic from the past includes a quote from Dr. Dana Krempels: https://binkybunny.com/forums/topic/litter-with-baking-soda/

Is it dusted with baking soda? If so, then I agree with Wick.

Thank you so much! Baylor and I will avoid the baking soda.
