Bailey had her own way of taking a vacation this spring break- she broke out of her pen!  Sometime between when the bunnysitter came this morning and when I got home at 10 pm, Bailey somehow escaped her pen, jumped onto my bed, rubbed her furry, shedding body alllll over my blankets and pillow, jumped onto my desk and tossed a pile of papers onto the floor, and got into the banana and papaya treats and had herself a little feast.  Naughty, naughty bunny!  I think she missed me, and this was her way of showing it

But on a more serious note… she did eat at least 10 papaya pieces, and at least 5 dried banana slices.  She is eating hay (and only hay!) and drinking water since I put her back in her pen, but is there anything I should do to try and keep her from getting an upset tummy?  She seems active, and her belly isn’t hard or making weird noises.

I’d keep an eye on her, but she’ll probably be fine :]

She’ll be fine. She might get a little poopy butt though. And yes, sounds like somebunny DID miss you. LOL

thanks guys! She is fine this morning, although last night around 3 am I heard a huge crash, and all of a sudden, Bailey was next to my bed! Guess it’s time to find a taller ex pen.

Oh but of course, when I went on a 4 day trip last year, my dad took care of my bunny. He would hang out with her in the living room and he noticed that she jumped the baby gate! She has never done that before so I was surprised! i think she was looking for me

Bunnies are so funny! I came home at 7 am this morning to find Bailey lounging on my bed, right next to my pillow. As soon as I walked in, she sprinted over to me. Too funny. At least she’s not getting into trouble when she escapes Although I think I put an end to it- I have NIC grids on her expen, so she’ll have to jump a whole lot higher to get over the fence now!
