Just curious, what bad things has your bunny gotten into and eaten that they weren’t supposed to?

        For me:

        carpet fibers (I give up)

Stuffing from the couch (Waiting until she’s older before investing in a new sofa)

        Chair legs (ugh)

Every cord and cable she can find (once again, I give up)

Shoes (I was under the impression I brought home a rabbit not a puppy but I guess I was wrong)

breakfast cereal (Fruit Loops are her favorite)

aloe juice, wine, tea (she’s all about the drinks for some reason)

nesquik mix (she managed to get on the table and chewed open a packet – that was fun to clean up, let me tell you what)

All these things were in really small amounts so it didn’t cause any problems since she apparently has an iron stomach, but it did show me what parts of my house/routine needed more bunny proofing.  What about you?

Piglet once decided to trim the fish bone fern that had grown through the top of the terrarium (I had planned on doing it but he managed to get to it before I did) and most recently Blossom has eaten the flyscreen in the bunny room window. There’s now a hole in it about a foot high and eight inches across.
Pascal ate the cords to my Hifi Speakers and the cable to the patio fairy lights.
Pepper and the girls ate most of the day bed and all of the cushions on it.
Nermal ate most of her adorable Strawberrie Bed and has recently decided to chew on Mr Heffalump.

Oh and Nermals Road Kill Skunk was on the recieving end of a severe nomming by Pepper one time that Pipi stole him through the Xpen.. Obviously wasn’t very tasty as she eventually pee’d on it.

Stickers : Carpet … I swear she thinks it is the tastiest thing ever. She will eat it over hay unless I am there to stop her (hence no free roam for her).

              Wires (any, all)

Plastic (any, all, they can’t even have water bottles since she chewed them all through bars)

Seeds. Oyster shells. Clothes. Keyboards. Controller buttons.

I brought home a goat, not a rabbit.

              Powder:

Shoes, my sandals with the thin straps? Yeah, he loves those.

              Rope.

Carpet – his way of telling me he needs new hay is to eat carpet. Since I can’t tell what is “good hay” and “bad hay” filling it up 2-5x when he tells me is what is needed.

The underside of my box springs so he could jump up into it and hop around at 7am and wake me up to take the bed apart and get him out. That was fun.

Oh, my! They sure get into stuff they are not supposed to!

I can’t remember everything but some I can are:

Rubber band (Bindi ate this and I was terrified and stayed up with him all night. He was fine, thankfully)

                Remote buttons (many!)

                Shoes, purses

Apple core (Bindi got into the garbage bin!)

Chocolate chip that fell on the floor (Bindi again)

                Wii Remote Cover

                Rubber grip off pen

Sometimes no matter how much you bunny proof, those little buggers find a way. They certainly have a nose for trouble!

                  REMOTE BUTTONS!!!!!

My “perfect” Jo-Jo has never chewed a wire, nibbled on any furniture, ignores plastic but because she is so “trustworthy” we gave her run of the house. Well, one night I went to bed, reached over onto the nightstand to get the remote to watch TV, went to press the POWER button and it was gone! (Along with numbers 3, 6 and 9!). She had to get up onto the bed, hop over to the nightstand, do her damage and slink out like a ninja!
Now all remotes are put up high when we are not around.
(I still think she’s perfect, though!)

Otto will eat anything plastic or rubber. He has eaten small bits of plastic wrap and plastic bags, plus the rubber handle on his pellet scoop (when DH and the pet sitter left it in the cage on separate occasions). And no remote control button is safe when he’s around.

Hannah snipped all of the surround sound speakers without us noticing. We were out of the room and she snuck back there without moving anything, so we didn’t realize she had done it until weeks later. Generally she just tries to go places she’s not allowed, but she doesn’t eat stuff she shouldn’t except for the occasional baseboard nibble.

Our buns like all the above!

I can’t count how many mouse/lamp/headset/phone cords we’ve had to replace
                      cord for my eletric keyboard
Drywall – they like chewing on the corners
                      Baseboard
sliding glass door frame (just yesterday)
                      ALL my wood furniture
                      papers / books
                      purses/shoes/boots
                      plastic litter boxes

You would think they were starving!

Harley has taken to really enjoying eating my wall paper Just tears it off the wall. He is currently locked up for a long while because now three of the power outlets have no wallpaper surrounding them and I have to redo my wall. This is a recent obsession and I hope it dies down QUICK

                        Let’s see,

The biggest blow was my check! He snatched it so fast and took off with my check. A few times went unnoticed and when I went to get it I find the edges are all chewed up :/

Carpet, walls, aquarium stand, ipad cover, phone cover, laptop chord… might I add ALL of these are from Harley! Sally is an angel and she has to get locked up because of Harley’s bad behavior lol

My bunny likes chewing remote buttons, baseboard, and the face brick on the fireplace.
Luckily, that’s it! Never any cords or furniture! =)

                              Drywall. Mostly drywall.

Oh and Leopold ate that stupid fly.
