Back Again!

Hey guys! Sorry I haven’t been on in so long. My life has been like a giant tornado lately! I’m going back to school and I forgot just how stressful that is!

I was planning to take some pictures and all that of the buns on Thanksgiving but ended up at the hospital with a knife wound in my hand instead. I can’t hold the camera or anything for a few weeks but after that I am going to take some pictures.

They are both doing pretty good. Dini has poopy butt from sneaking kitten food and he doens’t appreciate anyone other than me giving him a butt bath. But I am not allowed to get my wound wet. 

I have a new kitten named Popcorn. It is unclear if I am keeping her yet or not since I have had to move back home and my mother isn’t exactly an animal person (she hates them) and so far she is demanding I give her away.

I found her under a car starving, filthy, flea infested and with a massive URI. She was an estimated 3 weeks old and she is around 6 weeks old now and is crazy as a cat can be. 

The rabbits LOVE her they treat her like another rabbit and she loves being groomed by them.

They no longer have their own room unfortunately which I think upsets me more than it does them. They are back to the big closet Pacey was in as a baby. Plus access to my bedroom.

That’s about it. Life is insane I had to move back home and my rabbits could care less LOL.

Hey Sonn! Gosh I hope your hand is going to be okay! How did that happen? (I’m afraid to ask!)
Awww…Popcorn looks to be a sweetie! All cats are crazy though…I’ve had them for years and I’m not getting any more simply because they are so unpredictable. I hope your mom lets you keep her.
That’s a bummer having to move home. My son came home from college after two years and it’s been hard for all of us. He really wants to get out on his own but without any savings or credit it’s nigh impossible.
I hope things get better for you soon. It’s really good yo see you here. Looks like more than a few of the old regulars on the forum have returned.

I apologize in advance that this post is extremely long.

MM I stabbed myself in the hand cooking during thanksgiving. Luckily my sister was with me at the time and had more of a brain than I did and called someone. I was too busy running around the house bleeding on everything. It’s pretty gross the knife went so far in I chipped the bone leading to my thumb.

I love my family but I would much rather not be living here. I have 1 other cat Minion that my mother tolerates because I told her flat out he wasn’t going anywhere. But he is extremely lazy and basically sleeps 20 hours a day.

Popcorn is something else for instance right now she has the entire couch to lay on but instead she is asleep on top of my head. Lol.

Jersey I am studying to be a veterinarian. Which is sooooo hard! I have always been good in school but seriously I think my life revolves around labs and homework right now! Plus in Jan. I will be taking classes that have nothing to do with veterinary at all LOL. No idea why but the school I am attending says it is “required”.

Animals are always finding me. I just got home from the vet for a poor dog that showed up at my house nothing but bones with an obvious case of bad heart worms and the mange so bad he didn’t even have hair and part of his ear was falling off. I don’t mind when I find or they find me since I know I at least can help them instead of sending them on their way down the road. My dad used to call me his animal magnet LOL.

LPT I am hoping to have more time to get on here now that I am used to my schedule.

Dini is a garbage disposal if it is edible and on the ground or anywhere he can reach he will eat it. My oldest dog is fed on a RAW diet and he snuck out of the room and tried to steal a raw cow tongue!

It was interesting trying to clean a poopy butt Dini with just 1 functioning hand… I ended up with more water on me than Dini.

I am going to try to hang on to Popcorn if I can since she does have a few health issues that I am not sure I would trust the people in my town to take care of. Hopefully the tactic I used when I lived here before works now. Lol. Basically I keep her around “finding” her a home until my mother gets used to her and says “she’s already used to this place we better not give her away”.

And I will get some pictures as soon as my thumb moves on its own.

I thought you were going to say stabbed in the chest in a thanksgivng gone wrong.  I imagine that hurt a lot.  Hopefully your hand will be just fine in a few weeks.

I can’t get pics of cotton binkying and running about he is just too fast.

I like the  keep her I am finding a home for her til your mom gets used to her n says might as well keep her  lol  great idea.

LOL I am glad it wasn’t my chest! My hand hurts but I am glad it was just my hand.

I usually take around 100 pictures to get a handful of decent ones.

Popcorn is still here and has began her holy nightmare phase where everything is perfect for clawing especially the one thing you don’t want her to claw.

It takes 8 years. But I started down this path once before for 2 years then had family problems and dropped out . So I only have 6 years to go. *only* pffft lol.
