While bored and on FB this afternoon I decided to Facebook-stalk Hannah’s old owner and I found this pic. It’s baby Hannah! I’m so so excited to have some of her baby pictures.

Just found some more!

Such a cutie!
Based on her estimated birthday (somewhere in February or March) she would be about 5-6 months in the second batch of photos. Otto was full weight by 6 months, so maybe she’s even younger and was born later than we think (when she was spayed in July the vet estimated she was 4-5 months)

Hannah is so big!!!
So big now, or so big then? 😛 She’s only 5.5lbs now, but she always seems bigger to me.
I’ve always seen pictures of Otto boy only ![]()
I need to post more pics of Hannah then! I’ll have to post some adult pics tomorrow.
YAY!!!!!!
She looks just like Lucy! But Lucy has a half lop going on. She’s not a lop, but she has a lazy ear for sure.
cuuuuuuuuuuute!
Is that someone’s *manly* leg? Goodness ; )
It’s exciting and joy-giving to have baby pictures of your pet, especially when they’re as cute as Hannah, congrats on finding them. I wish I had more baby pictures of Dustor, I only have one and it wasn’t taken by me, either.
Awwwww she is so cute!
See, not all stalking is bad, LOL
Lol yay for FB stalking!
Lizzie, her old owner was a woman, but half of the pictures are with this guy – maybe a friend? The hairy legs made me lol.
Lintini, her color in the baby pictures is pretty spot on for her current color – I think it’s just washed out by the flash because the pics without flash look close to her color, maybe just a little lighter. I’ve been told her color is broken sable chinchilla. It’s like a regular chin color, but it has more of a brown/beige undertone to the grey fur rather than just a grey undertone. What color is Lion? Is he an agouti type color like Hannah? He looks more frosted or something in the pics, but it’s hard to tell. Your boys are so cute!
Thanks for the comments everyone! It’s hard to imagine she was ever small, so these pictures are priceless.
Here’s a couple of adult pictures!

Aww….Hannah! You can certainly see her mini lopness (it’s a word
) in these pictures.
Happy to see you’ve posted these, nearly forgotten what she looks like! Do you think Otto could have reach his full weight earlier because he’s a smaller breed?
What a lucky find! I’m sort of jealous. I had hoped to get baby pics of Rumball but his former owners never sent them thru. Make sure you save these twice over.
Actually, you’ve inspired me. I’m going to email his former owners. What have I got to lose? They might find it annoying but they can choose to ignore my email. :p
I love that first baby pic! She’s so adorable as a baby and now she’s a very beautiful lady! ![]()
Jersey, you have to let us know how it goes! It would be so great to get some baby pics of him – I bet his ears will look huge as a baby.
It’s definitely possible Otto reached full size earlier than her since she’s a full 1.5lbs bigger than him. I think it’s also possible that she was younger than the vet thought when he spayed her since her owner never knew her real birthday.
I have to say I love the pic where she’s staring straight at the camera. She’s one of the only bunnies I’ve met whose eyes point straight ahead – usually they have to turn their head a little to look at you, but Hannah always stares at us straight on like that. Such a very Hannah pose!
awwww!!!! lucky you found baby pics
and that last pic is super cute… love the cuddle pics!
Hannah is so cute as a baby! And the picture of the two of them sleeping is adorable!
re: Otto, I just remembered he was a rather earlier developer.
lol

I love that pic also. Her ears appear so long and her face almost english lop like. In the other pics also.
She does have a very pointy face like an Elop. I wish she had the ears! Hers are long, but pretty skinny. And I think her ability to look straight at you is one of the things that makes her seem so intelligent for some reason. Like other bunnies give you the side eye, but she looks you straight in the eyes and tries to figure out what you’re thinking.
And yes, Otto was a bit of an early developer! Hahaha. I remember asking the vet to verify that he was a male (on the day he turned 8 weeks) and she said “He sure is.” I said, “Are you sure? I know it can be hard to tell.” She said, “Oh, I’m sure. I can show you his little bunny testicles.” Lol. By 5-6 months he was already 4lbs and never grew any bigger.
Any luck with Rumball pictures? I just love baby loppies, so I hope you can get ahold of some.
You were able to ‘facebook stalk’ Hannah’s previous owner! That’s such a bonus! I really regretted in some of my adopted animals that I didn’t know anything about their background. I like adopting privately for that reason.
I’m actually FB friends with her so that she can see pics of Hannah when I post them, so maybe I don’t have to call it stalking 😉 My stalking also turned up that she moved to Austin, so I guess she won’t be coming to visit The Mer any time soon. She seemed like a nice girl though. I’m glad to know that Hannah had a good life before she came here, even if she didn’t get enough exercise or room to run – at least her owner loved her and did the best she good (and got her spayed!)
