Hey everyone. My cousin has a 3 month old holland lop and he acts pretty normal when he eats and drinks. We used to feed her milk
through a syringe weeks ago because his back was really boney, but he seems fairly plump now for a baby bunny. He just started
eating 3rd and 2nd cut timothy hay really well after we got him off unlimited pellets about 2 weeks ago.
About a few days ago, he’s been letting off some really rancid odors. It was coming from his poop. I noticed that they looked really
moist lately and more greenish along with some being oblong. I’m not sure if that’s when it started but, he’s been leaving big groups of
cecotropes in his litter box before the moist poop started appearing. Sadly now, the odor is stronger and I noticed this morning that
there are wet round and oblong poops and small spots of liquid poop in the litter box. He isn’t moving a lot right now, only when I pick
him up to place him on the other side of the cage to look into his litter box will he move and jump back into the litter box.
Does this call for a vet visit? Will it be okay to wait it out? What should I do?
I just picked him up and he has a lot of wet poop stuck to his butt.
