  One of my four 7.5 week old bunnies started doing a thing where it seems it is trying to get something out of its nose and throat. It didn’t seem like a big deal at first but now 4 days later it seems to be doing it more and it’s eyes seems it’s deminir seems to be effected by these fits. Of course I now I am beginning to worry. Any suggestions on why it may be doing this and what I can do for it would be so much appreciated. The vets around here seem to know almost nothing about rabbits….♥️

  I don’t have any advice – other than a vet visit – which sucks that you don’t have a bunny savy vet near you

  Bunnies coughing usually mean something deadly if not taken care of asap. What you mention sounds like the start of choking, which means something could be wrong with the teeth, mouth, throat, or lungs. Time to find a rabbit certified vet and rush there, even if its a few hours away. Your rabbit might not make it if you dont.
