        when is the best time to handle baby bunnies so they can get used to us cradling them?

          Bunnies should really never be cradled, especially if it’s to cuddle them. Bunnies prefer being on ground level, and no amount of handling will ever really make them 100% okay with that. Bunnies should really only ever be picked up in emergency situations, or to do things like medications and nail trims. Most baby bunnies are handled at the breeder, but again they don’t really enjoy being picked up and held.

            You shouldn’t hold him a lot unless he likes it, Magpie does but most don’t.

            As soon as you get him you can start, but don’t hold him much if he kicks and flails, and never hold him on his back, that’s really really bad.
