  I’ve been so busy with Shadow’s homecoming today, I forgot to give Mimzy his probiotic.
  
  Will it hurt him to miss one day? It’s too close to his next dose of Baytril to give it now.

  Mimzy should be just fine without the dose you missed.

  Agreed – missing one dose should be fine, but you want to generally keep it up.

  Okay, we ran out of Baytril yesterday morning, but I do have a little probiotic left, should I continue to give him the rest of it? (about 1 1/2 capsules) to ensure that he gets back to normal digestion?

  yes, I would finish the probiotic- it will only be beneficial. ANd I would assume antibiotics can still affect gut flora for a bit even after they are discontinued.

  I read somewhere it’s got a range of ten days afterward. I don’t have that much probiotic left, but if he displays symptoms I can get more.
