Ugh the saga of Fluffy eating things she shouldn’t continues…

Someone had left the back door wide open while I was asleep and I woke up to find Fluffy escaped in the backyard chomping on grass that had been sprayed with herbicide. I quickly rushed and brought her inside.. Im not sure how long she was out there and how much she’s eaten. But this grass was treated with herbicide yesterday (a bit over 24 hours ago) The active ingredient is iron chelate, and it is called Fiesta weed killer. I was going to call the lawn care company but they are closed.. does anybody know whether this iron can harm bunnies?

Their website says that pets can use the yard in just a few hours: http://www.fiestaweedkiller.com/. But obviously they don’t mean in terms of ingesting it. I should mention it has rained since then too so im not sure if this would make it less harmful?? In the meantime, I fed her lots of water and she doesn’t seem to be much different to me.. pooped, peed, ate her pellets.

If anyone has any information on this it would be much appreciated. I am in a bit of a panic!

hopefully someone can help you out! I would probably take her to the vet just for a check up to be safe, not sure what else to do though.

Is there an emergency number for your vet that you can call, or any after hours vet emergency clinic in your area that you can contact?
