At what age can a rabbit eat veggies and fruits? My rabbit is currently only 12 weeks old.

You can start introducing vegetables and fruits to your bunny when he is about 12 weeks old, so now. You need to do it very slowly though and if he gets an upset stomach, lower the amount of vegetables you give him or don’t feed them to him. Fruits and carrots are only treats. I like to give my rabbits strawberry tops on top of their salads a couple times a week

Start with a very small amount of a simple green, like romaine lettuce or parsley. Wait a day, and if it doesn’t cause stomach upsets give a larger piece. Repeat until you are giving a normal sized portion. Then try another veggie.

And save the fruits/sweets for treats…… I just worked out why my Henry RUN’s to my hubby and not me – I’m the dinner/veggie giver, my hubby is the banana, apple or anything sweet giver. Dam husbands! DAM bunny’s!

I just thought I’d add that in another post you say your bun is 8-12 weeks.
Buns shouldn’t have veg until 12 weeks so if yours is younger than that you should wait a little longer.
