I’ve never ever thought to try asparagus – I guess I like it so much there’s never enough for the bunnies.

I looked it up before and I don’t think they are allowed to have it-I’ll have to see if I can find it but I’m sure it’s on the no-no list. BUT now that I look again I cannot find it-so maybe it is ok to give? Anyone else know for sure?
Me too BT-I love asparagus Actually nevermind for me-my bunnies won’t get asparagus-it’s 4$ a bunch here and if I pay that I’m eating it heheh

It is on Camilla Bergstrom’s list of safe vegetables, but as she always points out, you have to be careful when introducing new foods.

You can download her list by clicking on “feeding the house rabbit” in this link.

I suppose if you love asparagus and didn’t want to share it you could give the rabbits some of the woodsy ends.

My bunnies don’t like it- I don’t even try to offer it anymore (we snap the ends off when we cook it for ourselves).  I tried to offer it often and frequently this spring and they intensely disapproved.
