› FORUM › THE LOUNGE › Art Thread – Post your Bunny-related art here!
I’m reaching out to all of you members who enjoy art, whether you create them or not. =) Please use this thread to share some of your own creations. It does not matter if it’s a full blown masterpiece or just a simple sketch. I want to see them!
To start it off, this is cropped version of a painting I did when I was just starting high school (more than a decade ago).
Oh oh! I love this! The rabbit is a bit like Jersey, my first bunny and one who’s made me bun-crazy.
You’re so talented!
I know some other members here are artistic and hope they share some of their work. Looking forward to it!!
That painting is gorgeous! I love it!
I’m more crafty than artsy. I do embroidery and a lot of it is bunny related.
This is a pillow I made a little while ago, I designed it myself:
And I did this design on a shirt recently:

Heeee! LPT I’m loving the skull & cross carrots!
I love that pillow PuffyTail! It is adorable… not to mention looking really comfy. =)
The design on the shirt is also very creative!
I’ve been trying to dig through all my art trying to find something bunny-related, but i think that painting I did in high school is it. Recently though I’ve been taking a lot of pictures of Dotty.
I might do a few sketches of her and post it here. =)
LPT the shirt embroidery reminds me of a cuter version of Frank the bunny from Donnie Darko!
Feathery – What a lovely painting ![]()
I LOVE RABBIT ART.
I’ve only done a few pieces myself and I’m sad to say I haven’t really finished them or put the final glaze over them but I’m addicted to buying rabbit art too ![]()
Here’s the two I’ve done with paint (I have a few pencil sketches for possible tattoo ideas too)

(I’m more of an abstract painter)
Love this thread! I have some I have sketched but I have no idea where they are after I moved! I will try and dig them up!
I’m so jealous of you guys! I wish I was artistic like that. =p Your work is amazing. =]
Wow, that painting is gorgeous Feathery. I’m thinking back to the art I created in art class when I was that age and it was awful. lol You’re very talented!
I love the other projects too. LPT, the skull and cross carrots is briliant. And I love the swirled colors in your paintings, FrankieFlash.
I have zero artistic talent, but I enjoy looking at other’s work 🙂

FrankieFlash, I really love this one of yours. The leaves on the carrot looks so surreal. What medium did you use? It looks like Acrylic but thicker.
Awesome stuff!
Helloworld!!
Very cool paintings, and LPT… I love your embroidery! I don’t mind if you guys post some other non-bunny related things too!
My version of creativity is a couple circles with bunny ears drawn on… LOL! Or a turkey tracing of my hand!
I had taken a picture of my sketch after I drew it. Here it is! I still have another one, but I think it is still packed away in a box. I don’t tend to draw much so don’t judge me! I should draw more to improve! My drawings always come out more on the cartoon side then realistic… but oh well! ![]()
This is Lulu….

While I draw and (recently) paint (watercolor) I’m not too good at animals, so I won’t share any of my rabbit drawings/paintings, because I don’t think they’re very good, especially compared to everyone else.
So, I shall share my photography, I consider it an art. ![]()
This is all I have right now, on this laptop at least. All my photos are on flashdrive sticks, and it’s just all screwed up. ![]()

Nala (Left) And Duchess (Right)

And my Simba, he passed away last year, but he loved his photo taken. He always posed.
Beautiful pictures. And beautiful subjects. ![]()

The drawing is actually quite good! It is well proportioned (slightly on the fatter side). =P
Improvement comes with practice, and you are off with a fantastic start.

Photography indeed is an art! What beautiful rabbits. =) I’m interested in seeing some of your water colors!
This is a drawing I did for a commission. She has rabbit ears!

This is a sketch of my cousin Gina when she was just 3-4 years old. There is another picture of her holding Dotty on the right when she was 9 years old. She is one of my favorite models. =)

Here is how the conversation went while I was taking that photograph of Gina….
Me: Gina, can you put Dotty down so I can take Dotty’s picture?
Gina: Why do you have to take Dotty’s picture?
Me: I haven’t taken Dotty’s picture yet. I would like to take some. Can you put her down?
Gina (holds Dotty tighter): No
Me (feeling a little agitated): I’ll take a picture of you and Dotty together then. Can you stop eating that strawberry and smile?
Gina (holds strawberry to her mouth)
The drawing is actually quite good! It is well proportioned (slightly on the fatter side). =P
Thanks! Maybe I will try and draw some more. I only draw like… maybe once a year cuz I never find the time!
Wow! Love the sketches! 😮 And that picture is so cute!

Thanks! And I’ve only just started maybe a week or so ago using watercolors, so maybe after practicing a bit more I will. ![]()
Wow, Feathery….those drawings are so amazing!
And I like the strawberry in her mouth. She’s adorable.
Mocha, I think your sketch is cute. Much better than I could ever do. I’m very envious of those with drawing skills. Something I’ve always wished I was good at. Oh well, I express myself with thread.
Thank’s LPT! You do well with your thread! I couldn’t do that!
Yes Feathery I use acrylic for all of my “marbelizing” but I’m pretty picky about which kind and surprisingly the paper/board is more important for “marbelizing”. I learned how to do it originally for nail art. I love this thread. Makes me want to break me tubs of art stuff out!
Feathery – That is amazing! You are very talented!
Bunjamin, I love the abstract of the second one.
I do a lot of art as well, mostly oil paintings. I don’t have one of Mimzy yet, but I have others I did of a maltese dog and a boston terrier. I did do a bunny drawing a long time ago just in pencil just as a funny pic, but it is an “evil bunny” lol. Not exactly cute haha
I will try to get one of Mimzy shortly.
Thanks everyone! Sorry for the late reply. I’ve been pretty busy the past few days. =)
