Of looking at local adoptable bunnies when you know you dont need another mouth to feed?  I think I need to block myself from some websites!  LOL

I go on there to see the cute buns and see which ones have found forever homes and I find my mouse magicaly goes to the adoptable buns page! Does anyone else’s mouse do this too?! lol

I repeat to myself when I find one I really like “I do not need anther bun, I do not need another bun!, I DO NOT NEED ANOTHER BUN!!!”

I would do that, if there were bunny rescues over here…  I do that in websites from rescues out of my country though. XD

I check craigslist … even though I really shouldn’t because I always feel so bad for the animals. But when I go to look at the furniture page I always end up clicking pets anyway… then grinding my teeth over the people wanting to “trade” their animals for new ones. I purposefully avoid petfinder because then I go “Ooh, I want that one and that one and that one” but I have enough already.

I’m currently torturing myself looking at cute adoptable bunnies in the UK on the RU website. If I had a magic wand I am certain a little grey loppy would suddenly appear in my living room…POOF!

I know I will never have another rabbit after my three…mostly because I am getting too old to care for the ones I have now, and my hubby is becoming allergic to rabbit fur.
                But it’s fun to look…sort of….definitely a bit masochistic at times. >.<

Does volunteering at a rabbit rescue every week count?

ME! Ugh!! And I have met my quota at 2. Funny, today my husband called and asked what we were up to. I told him the kids and I were heading to Petco (they were having cat/kitten/dog/bunny adoptions and just wanted to be nosey). He said in a very desperate voice “please do not bring home another pet!!” hahaha!! Who ME?!!!

Hahaha Luvmyhunybuny! That’s what my mom and dad said to me when I got a job at Petco. Well it was more like this, ” LINDSEY IF YOUR BRING ONE MORE ANIMAL INTO THIS HOUSE WE WILL KILL YOU!!!” They were kidding of course….well I think.

I have to admit…I’m a little guilty. I only have one bunny at the moment and I saw on a local shelter’s website a really adorable rabbit with a chunk missing out of an ear (I think it gives him character ;P), it also doesn’t help that in his description it talks about how everyone passes him by and he just needs a forever home. I am seriously considering adopting him, I can’t help it I always want to take “the saddest ones” home

WHEW! Im glad I’m not alone! lol I found a bun today that I just drooled over and was contemplating on if I could get Thistle a friend…. Then I got caught! My mom walked in and said “DONT even think about it! “

                          Me: “But…”

                          Mom: “NO!”

Me: “hes so cute and needs a home, I have room!”

Mom: “You have “A” room and if YOU want to continue living there and NOT in a box outside, then DONT even consider another pet! “

*snaps fingers*  Dang!….I’ll have to try again tomorrow!

I just caught myself looking at flemmies for adoption when we just spent all day trekking 4 hours each way to adopt one!

Lintini– I think my husband really would kill me! I volunteered for guinea pig rescue; acquired 3 (plus 2 gerbils). Volunteered for dog rescue; aquired 5. “Fostered” Toby and now have 2 buns. I think he held is breath until he got home from work to see that I actually did *not* bring home an animal! I figure life is too short and if we have the means and hearts to take them in, then so be it!! I always say I am the gas and my husband is the break!!

Oh bunnnyfriend! You really need to adopt him! He sounds precious, poor little guy!! (I know I am of *no* help!)

PuddleJumper – That is too funny!! Did you say “mom if you love me you will let me get that bunny?” hehe!

Lis — any pics yet? I am dying to see your new baby!!

I’m guilty. I go on kijiji”s pet section pretty much every day. I shouldn’t because I either feel sad at all the cats and bunnies for sale or angry at how stupid and neglectful so many pet owners are. I also see many horses I want to buy but would never be able to afford! I wish I could stop but it’s a bit of an obsession!

LOL I think we need to make a support group!

A support group sounds good. At least we’re acknowledging the problem, the first step to recovery!

As for me, I don’t even really want another rabbit. Not really. But I kind of do…  *Ah, hem.*  There’s a Himalayan at the HRS who sounds like he’d be a nice partner for Hodari. Honestly, Hodari doesn’t act like she needs a partner, and I’m enjoying her cuddly nature so much that I don’t think I’d want to share her!   Not to mention that we don’t have room for two bunnies, and can’t afford another one right now.

I keep looking at “Hemlock’s” picture anyway…   It’s a good thing he’s, like, three hours away.
