Apollo came home last week!

I bought my little man home last week, and I must say, he is settling in very well. We haven’t had Internet till yesterday, so that’s why I couldn’t let you all know before, but it’s so wonderful to finally be able to contribute to the conversation and be able to give my experience with Apollo. Tell you what, ill attach a picture I took maybe…10 minutes ago? ill put it at the bottom. But yeah, he’s maybe….12 weeks old right now….I think, somewhere around there. He’s going to be neutered at Christmas, my parents are paying for it, though it’ll be like a Christmas present. At the moment I’m saving up, so when he’s neutered and litter trained I’m buying the supplies to make him a NIC condo. He is in a store bought cage now, and please don’t kill me, I bought the biggest one I could find, he won’t be in it forever, it’s big enough for now and he gets about an hour and a half of run time each day at the moment. It would be more, but the weather has been SOOO bad here in Perth right now. Storms and chilly winds. Not nice! But yeah…just thought I’d give you the updates!

FINALLY…. We have all been waiting for updates ! Did tell everyone that with the move you might be incommunicado. Apollo looks very chillaxed under his chew toy.

Congrats! He’s adorable. Don’t feel bad about caging situation. Bunjamin was in a store bought cage for the first 6 months of his life or so. As long as it’s not permanent

Plus when they’re young you want to gradually increase their space for litter training purposes anyway.

Thanks everyone! Haha yes Hazel, but I might just win him over with a slice of carrot when he comes home ^.^ ill probably photo bomb you all with his cuteness in a few weeks! I’m back for good now!

OH GOD. I’VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS POST FOR WHAT SEEMS LIKE FOREVER! I’ve been so excited to hear about him and how he’s settling in. As handsome as ever, as usual I see! And both of those Loppy Ears have fallen! The last time I remember he only had one down!

And definitely don’t feel bad about the cage situation. All of my three brats were confined to their store-bought cages until they were all bonded and moved into something bigger! Which ultimately helped with the bonding anyways so it worked out well.

I’m soooo excited for you! And so happy Apollo is officially a BB member too!!!! He looks sooo relaxed in his pen! And that Kabob! All my buns LOVED those until we got Tanger… when the first night we had him he managed to tear the entire thing into a million shreds and pieces. I had to dump everything out of his cage and search for all the pieces separately. Hope your little guy isn’t so much trouble! Hahaha.

And about the cage – honestly, I think when they are that little it’s better to have them in the store bought cage. they can’t jump very high and i think they feel a little more secure in something smaller. of course, then all of a sudden they are all grown up and you’re entire living room is the bunnies “cage”. i’m sure many of you can relate. the smaller cage helps them learn to potty train too!
