  It seems my alice, a dwarf that I have only had for about two months now, is angry at me. I cant find the reason for it. Shes a little over a year old and has been a joy to have. She still uses me as a climbing stool and loves to be pet but for some reason, even with all the toys and what not, she darts around the room, jumps in the cage, and starts biting the bars. She will bite them for a while even though she has chew blocks and food and water. No idea if shes mad or just showing out but I keep her cage clean and tons of things for her to do. Im at a loss as to why she runs around the room, then jumps in the cage very fast and bites the bars over and over.

  I don’t think she’s necessarily angry at you. When she interacts with you, is she performing actions that are common markers of displeasure among rabbits, such as thumping, turning her back on you, nipping, or even growling and lunging? Is she soliciting pets from you/allowing you to pet her?

  Running around the room is known as “the bunny 500” and is a sign that she’s happy. Mine have always chewed the bars on their cages no matter how long they are out. It’s not a matter of her being mad at you.
