Lolli and I are both grumpy with each other.  She’s quite grumpy and fed up with the ear treatment.  (She had a double ear infection we’ve been treating for 6 weeks now.)  She now tries to bite me when I put the drops in.  LOL

I am grumpy with her because she has figured out she can crawl underneath the couch to get to the back of it.  I don’t want her back there because she will eventually start tearing it up and it’s not my couch.    She did it twice and KNEW she was in trouble and did it anyways.  Little stinker.  lol  Although I guess it was partly my fault.  I was cleaning her room and let her be free instead of putting her in her carrier while I cleaned her pen area.  I have done this in the past and she has been fine.  Not that day.  When I finally picked her up to put her in her carrier, she got ticked and kicked at me while I was bringing her to my chest.  That’s ok cause I was already mad her too.  So we had a “fight” and she is now grounded to her pen for a couple of days.  LOL

But when she’s out, I swear she likes to show off for my dad.  She will wait for him to come back to his chair.  And she now lets him give her nose pets.  I am now just evil mom who messes with her ears.  LOL

Maybe you should ask the vet about some oral antibiotics to treat the ear infection…not that this will make her any less grumpy but 6 weeks on ear drops seems excessive…surely there is an alternative….

I think the initial problem was me. I wasn’t being aggressive enough with putting the drops in. Or it wasn’t getting all the way down in there. Now when I clean them, there is absolutely no gunk, so hopefully she is all better. The last time we were in, the vet said there was just a tiny bit of infection left. And my checkbook can’t handle this much longer. So next Tuesday better be the last time. lol
