  Hi guys,
  I have had this issue for a while now and it seems to be getting worse so I am really clueless now and really considering the option of having to rehome my bunny.
  So I have had my bunny, Pudding for 4 months now. Pudding is a 6 month old neutered boy, who is a lionhead and lop cross and very affectionate, playful and a really good boy. I did not have any bunnies (only stroked other bunnies) before Pudding and after rehoming and having him for 2 weeks, I started developing symptoms of cold amd conjunctivitis or so I thought. I stupidly ignored the problem for a month then used Antibiotic eyedrops I used to use when I really had pinkeye, the eyedrops did not work at all, just made my eyes even worse. I have bright read circles under my eyes and eyebrow and these parts are crusty, Ive got discharge from the corners of the eyes and so on. I also developed some pretty serious skin rash every time I barely touched Pudding. So I went to see my doctor who sent me to get some blood tests done and I found out I am allergic to rabbits.
  I have tried several antihistamines but none of them worked, I wash my hands, change clothes, wear facemask, nothing seems to work and the state of my eyes amd face (full of rashes even though I didnt touch Pudding) is making my self-esteem really low
  . I love Pudding but Im feeling conflicted as well as everyone says I should get rid of him. I feel bad and I dont know what would be the best for both of us

  Just to make sure I read this correctly, so your symptoms started up 2 weeks after you got Pudding and have continued for 4 months now? Also, are you sure you’re allergic to Pudding and not Pudding’s hay? Hay dust (particularly Timothy) can cause allergies to flare up. You could try a less dusty hay (Orchard) to see if that helps. If you still experience symptoms, then rehoming him might be for the best.

  Yes, my symptoms started 2 weeks after we got Pudding and have been going on since then
  I dont think it’s the hay as I’ve been using the same type of hay (mixture of timothy, orchard, meadow hay and some dried herbs) ever since I got my two guinea pigs – for nearly a year now.
