AIM/ MSN/ YIM thread

Seeing the topic entitled “the Screen Name Thread” gave me the idea that it may be VASTLY helpfull for us all to know each others’ screen names on AIM, YIM, MSN, or whatever else you may have. So that way if someone has a question they need answered immediately they don’t have to post and wait and hope that someone sees it in time. Word can also spread more quickly this way too if it needs to reach a forum leader.

And heck! Sometimes you may just want to strike up a friendly bunny conversation with someone!

(BTW, Is there a way to make this thread visible only to Binky members? Some people may not feel comfortable giving their instant messaging screen names to the general public.)

At any rate, since I’m comfortable, I’ll get the ball rolling. Here are mine:

Actually posting addresses here is not a good idea, that is, unless you want  ton of spam in your box.  Spambots scour the net for email addresses posted on pages. Also, since these pages are public, you are not just giving out your email to members, it is just out there for anyone and everyone even the whackadoodles and psychos that take the time to post some disturbing post about every 3 months (we delete quickly).   That is why we have your mailboxes the way they are – it’s just more secure.

It is much better to EITHER phonetically spell out the addresses – for example infoATBinkyBunnyDOTcom  or even better, and safer -  just email each other via the message center with the info you want share.

Binkles – I recommend you either remove the addresses you posted or go back and phonetically spell them out if you want to keep them up.

Ah. Will do. I’ve been giving out my email addresses/ instant messaging screen names forever without incident, so I suppose I’m just used to it. I’ll just erase the email address part since it’s basically the same as sending PM’s on BinkyBunny.
