Humphrey is at the vet, as I type this, getting neutered. I was SO nervous this morning that I drank lots of coffee and my heart was going crazy on the way there. I wish I could have taken half of today off but I am taking half of tomorrow so I can watch him. I was also going to get him tattooed, but apparently bunnies don’t do well with the healing process, so I am getting him microchipped instead.

I just want this day to go faster!!!!!

I am sure he will, it’s just that percentage of bunnies that react bad to anesthetic. But, they haven’t called me yet and it’s almost 12:30 so I doubt anything happened. I’m sure they would call ASAP if something went wrong.

I was a total wreck when Remy got neutered a few weeks ago, but he didn’t miss a step! I’m sure he will be just fine.

              Try not to worry

              (like you can help it!)

Ahhhhh…He is fine! I was with a customer when the vet called so I couldn’t get it, I checked the message and they said everything went great. AND he has eaten a little
I can’t pick him up until after work so 3 more hours until I can leave. It’s going to take so long! lol

Yeah! So glad to hear he’s doing good and even eating a little – that’s great! Even tho you can’t pick him up for awhile at least now you know that he’s okay and you can let go of that worry! Whew!

                            Thanks

So I bought an extra bit of painkiller just in case. It was a syringe full of this sticky liquid that tastes like honey. I was told that if he seems like he is in pain, give him 2-3 drops twice a day. So I decided last night that since I wasn’t going to be able to watch him while I am sleeping, I would just give him a couple drops before bedtime. The receptionist also told me that the stuff is really sticky and to be careful when I am giving it to him. As I was trying to be really careful about squeezing out a couple drops, I guess I let my guard down because it went squirting across the room…all of it LOL! I kind of yelled a swear work and cracked up laughing because, it was pretty funny But he doesn’t seem to be in any pain at all, so I am not going to worry. I am leaving work early so I can go check on him, so if I need to I can just go get some more.

He was also really lovey this morning. I was leaning in his cage and giving him pets and every time I would stop he would chase my hand like he was saying “you’re not done yet!” Hehehehe yay! I love when he loves me

                              Awwww so cute!!!!

I’m glad it went so smoothly-iit’s scary when they are under, even though it’s routine with a good vet, still worries us mommies
