I’ve noticed that in the last year K has become better at managing his own diet. He’s always been a wolf with food, but since he hit the 3 years mark he’s been fully able to distribute his food throughout the day and he can even say no to treats! I don’t even have to dose treats anymore because he won’t have more than a certain amount. As for vegetables, he chins what he’s not eating and leaves it for later snacking.

He’s totally healthy and he’s as plump as ever, so I’m wondering if he’s finally getting wise? Is he hitting middle age crisis? (He wants to be a top model?)

Wick’s about 1.5yo and he also does the same thing, which was not the same as when I first had him. I believe it’s food security settling in — realizing the food will stay there! That’s a good thing

I think K is in the right country for being a model xD
Bombur has become less of a pig as he’s older, and Asriel has become more of one. So I can’t really say!

When he came to me, K was very aggressive to protect his food and for a long time he’d take food and go hide before eating it.
I hadn’t thought about this behaviour being an evolution of his earlier food-related behaviours Thanks for the input

He could be the model for a line of tiny rabbit hats lol XD to cover up for extreme body modifications

Bam has been a (lovely and adorable) pig for as long as I’ve known him. He’s like a bunny Labrador.

It’s good of course because if Bam refuses a piece of food, sth is up.

When I’m really worried, to make sure K’s not refusing juicy treats just because he’s full, I offer him stuff that he never usually gets, like a raisin or a piece of banana if he doesn’t eat that, it’s a whatsapp to the vet lol
