everyone I’m new to this forum but really need all of your expert advice!

I’ve notice some white scabbing on my rabbits bottom eye lid. Only on the one eye. She’s happy, eating pooing and grooming and my other rabbit has no signs of it.

I have no idea what it is. She has lived inside all of her 4 years, but we have recently moved house and have been able to let her run round the garden, only for 30mins or so and she hops back inside.

Here’s a picture. I’m very worried as she is my baby!

It looks like there has been some weeping going on. This can be caused by anything from something (e.g. piece of hay) stuck in the eye to a tooth root issue. Unfortunately, there is no way for us to provide a definitive answer since we’re not vets and it’s just a picture showing a weepy eye. A vet would be able to find the cause and recommend an appropriate treatment if one is needed.

I agree with LBJ10, it mostly just looks like the eye has been weeping, of which there are many many causes. Irritation from something that got in the eye, not likely an infection or allergies since it’s only one eye, but also possibly a tooth issue as mentioned above. Best to have a check up just to rule some things out.
