  So we adopted a dwarf/lionhead male about a month or two ago. He has been completely fine and healthy. Yesterday out of the blue we notices he looked like his left eye was running and the hair around his eye was stuck to his head. So I took a wet cloth smoothed it back out and it dried normally, this morning it looked the same and the skin around his one eye is very slightly pinker than usual. We think the dwarf female he’s with has been licking away his runny eye, but I don’t know what’s causing it. He’s had normal activity hasn’t had trauma to it that I know of. It’s really weird. Right now I’m keeping an eye on it, but any suggestions?

  There a few things that can cause runny eyes. Infection, a foreign object stuck in the eye (like a tiny hay seed), blocked tear duct or dental problems can sometimes cause runny eyes. I would keep an eye on it for now and if it continues, get it checked out.
