  I made something in microsoftword and I really want to share it in a post…but I can’t figure out to get the document to show up in the thread?? Any help would be great I worked really hard on it and I wanna see what you guys think

  I’m pretty sure you cannot attach a document – you can cut and paste though.

  It won’t let me copy and past My boyfriend is trying to figure out how to make it into a picture file.

  You can always upload your document somewhere and link to it here, but you won’t be able to embed the Word document like you would a picture. I would love to see it though!

  Where could I upload it to?? It won’t even let me upload it to facebook :/ I’m so stupid with computers

  Yea, facebook will only allow picture files too. You would need to go to a file hosting site; do either you or your boyfriend have a website somewhere, or an account on a website like Dropbox? (Dropbox is a site that lets you have a good bit of Web storage, and is pretty useful if you have files you need to access from anywhere).
  
  Also, if you’re going to upload a file you might want to try saving it to .pdf first before uploading it, because sometimes when other people open your Word documents the formatting can get all messed up and I’m sure everybody would love to see the formatting you intended .
  
  Don’t feel bad! Things on the computer/Internet can be pretty complicated sometimes..

  I think my bf has dropbox…how do you save it as a pdf when its originally a word document? And he successfully converted the file to a picture file, but the formatting got all messed up and its not the same :/

  Nevermind I figured out how to safe it as a PDF!! Now I sent that to him and he is going to convert that to a picture file. Hopefully soon I will have it uploaded!

  Yes, I was going to suggest saving it to a jpg or a tiff, which is often possible by inserting the text into Photoshop for example and then just saving it, and then it can be uploaded as a “picture”. Nice boyfriend to do that for you.

  I saved it as a PDF file, sent it to him via email, and then I have no idea what he did from there on out but I’m happy it worked!!
