  Pops has been acting a little different and im not sure if i should be worried or not so i just want a little bit of piece of mind!
  
  Pops has been eating, pooping and drinking normally. The past two or so weeks he’s been a lot more needy and wanting my attention a lot more than usual, other than that acting normal. Previously Pops just wanted to be in the same room as me but still have his own space and would only come over occasionally for a head scratch and to give me a kiss, then he’d hop away and go back to napping. The past two days though he has been really needy, constantly at my feet or climbing on me, non stop licking too. As im typing this he’s laying against my legs, licking me and nudging my hand (even though i am still patting him as im typing one handed). He seems a lot more chilled out and quiet too, he still has his random bursts of engery in the morning. Yesterday i thought maybe he was just having a sooky day but hes the same today.
  
  He was desexed about a month ago, could that have made him more needy as his hormones are changing?
  
  Am i just being paranoid and should i just appreciate the extra love he’s been giving or does anyone think there’s anything wrong with him?
  
  He still honks and purrs, doesnt seem like he’s in any pain either. I just want to make sure his neediness isnt to try and tell me something is wrong.

  It could very well be due to the neuter.
  
  Sick bunnies typically don’t ask their humans for affection. Dogs do that, they more or less always ask their humans for help, that’s deep in their genes – but then they’ve been domesticated for like 50000 years. Bunnies have been domesticated for about 200 years, plus they are prey animals. So when they don’t feel well, they tend to hide. It’s an instinct that’s vital for the survival, because a predator always goes for the weaker individual.
  
  As long as he’s eating and pooping, I think he’s fine.
  
  We are all super-paranoid crazy bunny people here. That’s like par for the course. No, just joking, but honestly, owning a bunny calls for vigilance and an eye for subtle nuances =)
