Hello to all from a rather wet northern New South Wales of Australia (we’re in the middle of yet another flood). My name is Emma and I’m a soon to be first time bunny owner, a baby black English Angora. It’s only 12 days old so got some time to sort things out before it comes home. I am also a spinner so the ‘fluff’ harvested off bunny will be spun as is or blended with some wool and spun into lovely yarn, some may say that an angora isn’t the ideal choice for a firat bun but I know what I’m in for with daily grooming, special diet and care requirements.

I’m hoping to learn more I can about bunny care and houseing between now and when I pick bun up from the breeder at the beginning of March. Look forward to sharing pictures in the near future.

Thanks, I’m exciting and looking forward to my first bun. At my age (late 20’s) a lot of people I went to school with are having kids but I’m happy with my fuzzy babies and just hope that my 4 kitties get use to having a house mate, I can already picture at least one of them curling up asleep on top of bunny’s house, I was going to make a plywood hutch but have been advised against it so am planning on going the XXL dog crate route, it’s bigger than the hutch I was planning on making and easier to move around the house if needed.
