  lol So we have these 2 Conures. The male is a cinnamon, the female is a yellow sided green cheek.
  
  JerseyGirl comes to visit sometimes, and Chilli, our male conure gets really excited and does this strange dance for her every time she comes near the cage. Ive never seen him do it for anyone else before. Its so funny. He creeps towards her rubbing his belly across the surface, then he goes backwards and does these strange jumps.
  
  Its so funny because when he goes too far backwards he falls off his perch. And when his woman sticks her head out of the breeding box, he pretends he wasnt doing it.
  
  We googled mating dance for conures and it looks nothing like what he is doing, lol. Does anyone know anything about conures doing this dance? We videoed it last night, sorry its so dark, it was the middle of the night lol.

  I love the part about the Mrs. coming out and he pretends like he wasn’t doing anything.
  
  Well the only other thing besides him having a crush on JerseyGirl is that maybe he’s doing a dance to say this is my cage or something. With the way he opens mouth and stuff. Our family cocketiels (SP) will do mouth open like they’re going to yell at us thing when they’re too lazy to actually do it.
  
  Either way, you’ve got a very entertaining video.

  It looks kind of like what my tiel does when he’s being nesty and gets in his “corner” to shred paper, but never seen one do quite that dance before. Silly guy.
