› FORUM › THE LOUNGE › A Huge Thank You! (Updated pics)
I just had to give a HUGE thank you to everyone that has helped me. All the questions before I got Hugo, all the questions when he was sick and all the support since he has passed. I can’t believe how wonderful you all had been and I just wanted you all to know! ![]()
I am making progeress on the house. I may have to even post pictures for you. Although they will be bunnyless. I now have 2 rooms completely unpacked and finished. I got carpet on the stairs yesterday and the hot water heater was fixed today. Tomorrow we are going to finish the vinyl floor in the unpstairs bathroom and install all the thresh holds. I alos got a 16×20 colloge photo made of Hugo yesterday.
Thank you again for all the wonderful help and support you provided. I will still be using the forum and I am hopeful to work through everything and CAREFULLY add another member to our family soon.

Pics!!
And I would love to see the Hugo collage. And definitely hang around, you can get your cute bunny fix through us until you are ready for another of your own ![]()
I’ll try to get the picture of Hugo up tomorrow. So, here’s a few rooms that are finished.

The main bathroom

Laundry Room

Kitchen: It will never look this clean again…..

Other side of kitchen.
Looks very nice Amy! I hope you are keeping busy. Hugs to you!
Looks great ![]()
Beautiful home Amy – congratulations :~)
Thank you. Hopefully I’ll get some more done today.
I see you have a big huge crockpot, here’s one of my favorite blogs if you aren’t familiar with it – she cooks gluten free as well:
I’ve made quite a few of her recipes and bought her book – I love reading her blog. She’s a great writer and she has 3 children as well so she always lets you know what her kids think of the recipes.
It must be too late at night for me. I’m getting emotional! I’ll have to prepare my self to see the pics of Hugo. (Don’t worry, i’ll be here with the poking stick like the rest if I don’t see them up soon.
)
I’m impressed with your paint work!! I’ve painted alot of the place I live in. It’s been a learning process & it shows. Your work looks professional.
Sarita: Thanks for the wonderful link! I’m sure it will come in handy. It’s definitely CrockPot season again and it’s so hard to find good gluten free recipes.
Jersey: Thank you for the wonderful compliment. I’ve lived in a lot of places now and have always done my own painting. You do learn as you go. This is actually the first time I haven’t texture painted.
I’m picking up my collage portrait of Hugo today. I’ll take a picture of it and post it. I also have a few more I’d like to post that I found on my camera the other day.
Here are a few Hugo pics I didn’t have time to post before. I’ll post the collage a little later. Hope you enjoy the few last pics I had! ![]()

Hugo laying with my husband after we had been gone all day.

He loved his pet bed but he was a little too big for it. He was always half on and half off. Too bad I didn’t get a picture of his back side off and his head on the floor! ![]()

His favorite way to eat hay. Empty boxes were our best hay racks. He didn’t like to stay in his litter box. Oh, and his fur was looking incredible!

This was his area I made for him in my bedroom a week or two before he passed so he could spend more time with me. His litter box, food, water and hay were behind the dresser there.
Oh gosh! not quite prepared, I’m tearing up a bit.
Large in life and large with love. What a bun! <3
Thank you. I’m finally to a point where I can look at his pictures and smile and laugh instead of cry.
Here’s in Hugo collage portrait. It’s a 16×20. Still deciding where to hang it. Sorry it’s not the best picture. It’s hard to take a picture of a picture.

Hugo was a very special boy and will always hold a very special place in my heart.
He’s so beautiful, and again I am so sorry for your loss. He is such an amazing big guy! I love your collage, it’s perfect.
Awwww….love the photos and collage Amy. He was a super special rabbit and very photogenic too.
Love all the pictures of Hugo! He was a very special boy. I’m happy you are doing better!
I would like to make a collage of Eddie but I can’t yet. I can look at his pictures, but I can’t have them in sight all the time. It would make me too sad.
Thank you everyone.
Aww, Amy, LOVE IT!!
A month ago, I spent 20 dollars on photos o.O;; I plan to get a scrapbook, but the ones that I find are kinda small or just.. don’t fit enough photos o_O;;
He was such a gorgeous bunny, he was happy to have someone like you ![]()

That is such a beautiful collage, Amy. Hugo was truly loved. I think that is such a beautiful gesture.
Thanks. Pictures help me through things. That and music. We’ve had it on a lot!
Brittany: Your best bet is to go to a Hobby Lobby or craft store. I found a spiral bound book (about 16″x16″) filled with blank heavy paper. I just used the self stick picture corners. It made a wonderful scrap book. Good luck with yours!
Here’s another house picture. From what got finished yesterday.

Dining room

Girls room.
wow! love your house!
Thank you. I got the last box unpacked yesterday and am painting my bathroom today. Then I’ll be done!
