According to the rescue section, this would be the place to talk about a personal rehome, but if it is not, could a mod please move it to the right place?
Okay, for four years, my trio lived happily together. I have a neutered male Lionhead (5) and two spayed female Jersey Woolies (4). However, about three or four months ago, Lil began picking on Bee, chasing her around, and eventually attacking her. Nelson, it seems, took her side. So those two are happily living together with me now (were at my parents home).
Now, Bee is living on her own and is quite upset. When she was separated from the other two before, my male Nelson would still sit next to her and groom her through the bars of their partition (even though he would chase her if left in the same pen). Now that he and Lil have moved out, I am seriously worried about the affects of depression on her. We’re getting her a stuffed rabbit for companionship, but I would really like to find her a new home with a neutered male because I know that at this point (new home owner, full-time student, emotionally demanding job) that I could not go up to four rabbits and get a companion for her myself and still provide the same level of care for my current pets.
Bee is very sweet, and is currently living about an hour outside of Philly (West Chester Area) so it is within reasonable driving distance to DE, some parts of NJ, perfect for meeting half-way from NY or DC areas. I am living about an hour outside of Pittsburgh (Not far from parts of OH or WV). This opens up a lot of options as far as homes go.
Is anyone willing (or knows someone who is) to open up their hearts to getting a bunwife for their neutered male? Bee is very sweet and just wants the attentions of a husbun.
