  I could be wrong but I believe the continental rabbits are the rabbits that were bred to be huge. The idea being that they would be an excellent source of food and fur for 3rd world starving nations. I know it’s a terrible fate but that’s why they were bred so big.
  
  The fact that he seems to be at a vet instead of a restaurant though makes me think he is anything BUT sad.
