I agree with Moonshadow. Baby buns are a lot like puppies. They have a very short attention span and little patience for cuddles and toys. My bun who turns 6 months tomorrow only last week decided to really relax next to the human and be pet for more than a few seconds.

Thats a very typical dandelion seed head. I dont know if the seeds are rich, but they’re not toxic. Children should avoid eating dandelion stems, I just read, but it seemrs a bit unlikely that children would want to, since the taste is bitter. I know of many rabbits (including my own) that love the stems. (As with practically everything else, if…[Read more]

Hello, I have 2 bunnies. A 1.5 year old netherland dwarf male (Winston) and a 11 month old dwarf/lop female (Pip) Both are fixed and I have had the female since she was 8 weeks and the male for the last 6 months. They bonded well and in general are friendly. We recently moved in with my partner and discovered he is fairly allergic to them and…[Read more]

<p style=”text-align: left;”>This is the most helpful comment I’ve got so far. Thank you so so much. I was feeling bad that at some point I would need to separate the bonded two until they get altered (plus 4-6 weeks after that), and that they’d miss each other. It’s great to know that I shouldn’t feel guilty breaking the baby bond.</p>
Thank you…[Read more] -

ok, so I have been better at the prebonding swaps and went back to the bath tub for a few days then moved to the bathroom floor since it is neutral and a larger space. I think thing have been a lot better. There has been mutual grooming and they are comfortable eating together, grooming themselves and just exploring the area but now I am not sure…[Read more]

If your bunny is only 11 weeks old and you only got a few weeks ago it will definitely take more time to develop a bond with you. In my opinion at 1 year old a bunny would be 7-10 years old in human years. Essentially at 11 weeks your bunny is around 1-2 in human years (just my opinion) so is super active like a toddler and has a very short…[Read more]

Every time they’re put together Casper starts mounting and buzzing and pumpkin gets upset nipping and biting at Casper. But they both eventually calm down and start mutually grooming each other. Are they becoming bonded and then when I put them back they become unbonded? Should I just do the 48 hour watch over in their final cage and call it d…[Read more]

I just want to confirm, it’s this okay to feed?

I was scared that it might lead to digestive issues. it’s all over my hay (where I usually get my hay from).
Yeah, my buns goes crazy for the timothy hay heads, they dig through the hay just to eat those! That’s good to know.
I thought it was like horse grass. Does this change my buns diet in…[Read more]

As far and the azitromycin, they did not have an oral suspension option…
They only had tablets so I got this. It contains 3 tablets and each tablet contains 500 mg.
Can I work with this somehow?Image: https://imgur.com/a/h8jMwXc
Is there a way to make a suspension using these tablets?

I was able to go to town today… the only meloxicam that I could find is this one pictured below..
Its says it is 0.15 percent. It says that every 100 mL contains 150mg of Meloxicam. The bottle has 10 mL in it.Medirabbit says 0.3 -1.2 mg per kilo body weight and day for this one… that’s a wide range lol.
But given the severity of the…[Read more] -

My girl Luna gets 1 treat every day (1 slice of dried strawberry) when she has her medication at night. Apollo is a little overweight so I might only give him one once a week. You can use pellets as treats too.
