Yeah, this is confusing. The only medication my vet gave my bun when she had GI stasis was for her liver, because it was enlarged. Thank you both for your responses. I checked out the link you gave Wick & Fable. The dosage I was given was around what I think it’s supposed to be. He was given 30mg and he weighs 1.74kg. I read it was around 18mg/kg?

It could be good idea to get a second opinion.

I dont know any vet that treats stasis with antibiotics, unless they believe that the cause of the stasis is a bacterial infection.

If pneumonia is suspected, you must treat that first of all. That can’t wait. Pneumonia is very serious in rabbits.

I recommend blocking it off and putting something in it’s place around/attached to the barricade to let out that energy.

What is your rabbits diet like. You also might need to move the hay in to a larger litter box to re-train. Since most rabbit eat and poop almost at the same time.

I like to think everyday is Xmas around here, the critters are so spoiled!!  😁

Yes, I have lots of time to make things and a dad that is willing to drill holes for my DIY bun projects.(Since I don’t know the first thing about carpentry other than how to drive a nail.)

Rabbits can still feel itchy even after the fleas are being killed. It’s the same with dogs. Their skin can have an allergic reaction to the flea bites and the more they scratch, the more their skin becomes irritated. So it can take some time for the irritation to resolve. Since it has only been a day, I would not be concerned yet. Give it a week or two.

That’s ok! Sometimes a nice gift is simply more attention and a few extra pellets 🙂

I try not to spend much, as I don’t really have a job, haha. I’m not really old enough. 🙂
