I wouldn’t do it — that’s very cold and would be a very rapid change in temperature from indoors to outdoors of a drastic degree.

I wouldn’t be concerned about slower consumption/less enthusiasm around pellets for reasons Dana mentioned too. It is unlikely a teeth issue since hay is the most teeth-intensive/involved thing to eat, but I’m sure exceptions exist is dental discomfort presentations.

I just wanted to second what DanaNM has said. I don’t think there is necessarily any need to wait, as long as you make sure your house stays generally cool it should be fine.

My dad is taking me to petsmart today since the bunnies got a gift card for christmas there. I want to take the bunnies there because Cinnimon loves to go places. It is 3 degrees in ferniheit though, sunny at least. there would be a blanket over their carrier for the time they are outside. But I don’t know if it would be too cold.

I recently adopted a partially sighted bun, her eyes look completely normal so I think it depends on the type of blindness. Is Leo white by any chance? White bunnies are more susceptible to vision problems due to the way their eyes take in the light.

I think it is really wonderful that you will be able to move your bunnies inside! It is generally healthiest for rabbits to be inside, so I don’t see it as selfish at all, as long as they will still get plenty of exercise inside.

That is a bit unusual! Eating hay is healthy for him, so I think this is probably a positive change as long as he is eating plenty of hay and his poops look healthy and he does eventually eat both. How much pellets does he get per day?

Happy new year!

I really want to try and get my art business off the ground this year. I love my job but it’s destroying my body with how physically taxing it is.

Apollo is doing well but Luna is very unwell, we nearly lost her this week and still could, but she is showing improvement. Made a post about it in the House Rabbit Q and A section.
