Dang! Terry, Maggie, and Greebo sound magical!
Dana’s post – What did you use for “nose guards” to keep them from nipping through the pen? I struggled to find anything that was big enough to zip tie but small enough to keep their little noses from getting through. Currently I have the litter tray screens from the BinkyBunny store coming this we…[Read more]

Hi and very welcome to Binky Bunny!
Your bun sounds like a wonderful and happy little guy!
I’ll try to answer your questions:
“First, his teeth. I cannot find a way to look at them witouth him running away. I ear him grind his teeth quite often, well almost all the time when he sleeps and I pet him or sometimes when I don’t and I don’t want to…[Read more]

I don’t blame you either for not wanting him to be a guinea pig, since this seems like it could heal on its own.
Lots of rabbits have lived long good lives without their front teeth. They primarily use those to pull food into their mouth (and to snip charger cables).

I glad you did the CT scan. It was good to make sure there wasn’t any additional damage. It sounds like there was, but it was minor… so that’s good. I’m not sure what you’re describing, but it sounds like they would essentially wire his jaw shut like they do in humans. I don’t blame you for not wanting him to be a guinea pig.
I think the wait…[Read more]

Hi everyone, first I’ll let you know that english is not my mother tongue so I might make mistake.
It feels so weird to even write here since I’ve read so many of you post.
I very recently adopted a wonderful holland lop who’s 6-7 months old.

Up until recently my little flood has been pooping and peeing in his litter box. But recently, also note he is being treated for stasis, he has wanted to pee and poop on my couch.
He is mostly free range but at night he goes in a hutch with his primary night box. When he is around the house he will use the box in the bathroom.the box he has…[Read more]

He made it through the cat scan well and we have the results.
Min-Min has a symphyseal fracture (incisor separation) to his lower jaw which is why his lower teeth looked misaligned. He also had two fracture lines in his left jaw bone (no broken back teeth). The doctor is not worried about the fracture lines because his jaw bones should hold those…[Read more]

I had a bit of difficulty uploading photos to the “add media” too (using an iPhone). It worked the first time I tried then never again. My workaround was clicking into your user profile then going to the “photos” tab. It allows you to upload an image file into your profile. Then once you go back to your comment and click “add media,” rather than…[Read more]

As a Windows user, I cannot say, but you should be able to use the “Add Media” button to upload the picture and insert it in a reply. See here for guidance as well: https://binkybunny.com/forums/topic/how-to-add-pictures-tutorial/

What a situation… It’s been a real rollercoaster…
Now that we’re thinking of a behavioural issue: is there something in your house or building that upsets him? Peeing and chinning can be a bunny’s way of saying: “I’m affirming once again that this is MY territory!”.
Rabbits have far more sensitive hearing, touch and smell than us. Anything…[Read more]
