Not that i know of, i’m usually here when he’s free roaming my room, I did notice he does itch his ear a bit so i checked it and it looks fine but i’m not too sure. He acts completely normal though just looks a lot more scruffier

WOW, what a saga! And good job rebonding them!

I think since you’ve taken your time and slowly rebonded them, they will be fine! It’s recommended to supervise closely for the first 48 hours together whenever they are in a new space, so I would say you are still in that cementing phase, so keep monitoring them closely for a few days. I would also…[Read more]

Gahhh such a bummer! Food grade diatomaceous earth also works well for carpets and bedding. Hopefully the bunnies were spared!

Yaaaaay! I’m so happy for you! And their set up looks awesome, can’t wait to see them cuddling in it! 🙂

So the cementing has gone well! We’ve basically been marathoning since Saturday with x2 five hour breaks in between for sleep and work. The cementing has progressed nicely and there are no more negative behaviours and a gradual increase in mutual grooming and snuggling. Glenn mounts a little, since Sunday it’s basically been once a day which to me…[Read more]

    welcome!

It would be best to keep them apart until Indi is spayed, so there’s no risk of hormones disrupting things, as you said. Adults tend to get a long with babies, but once puberty hits things can get tense and fights can break out randomly.

I think it’s great they are living side by side though and are acting friendly that way, that will…[Read more]

hey everybody I just had a quick question to get some advice about

I have two Netherland dwarf rabbits

Honey (brown male) and Indi (white female)
honey has been fixed and Indi is yet to be of age so she still has not been

but they love side by side each other and as the time has gone on they seem to be getting so friendly with each…[Read more]

Gotcha, that seems like a good set up!

If it seems like he’s more dribbling pee, it could be a UTI, so if it seems like it keeps getting worse, urinalysis might be a good next step.

Thank you for giving this bun a home!

Does he eat his hay? Hay is the most important thing for his teeth. If he isn’t eating his hay, I would have his teeth checked out by a vet to make sure they are all in alignment. Since he was eating pellets for so long, he may need a dental burring to get things back on track. They can probably even check…[Read more]

Hello!  I’m new here & have been reading a LOT.  I’m a new bunny mom.  I got the bun from a lady that kept him exclusively in a cage and fed him only kibble.  Until I get him neutered and litter trained, I have him in a pen so he can hop around and play.  He’s very close to being litter trained and his neutering is next week.  I have many chew…[Read more]

I think that a lot of the marketing (gluten-free, etc) is just that, marketing (like when companies put “fat free” on boxes of raisins, LOL). But annoying marketing tactics aside, Sherwood seems to be a good quality food and I’ve found my rabbits have done well on it. I also fed Oxbow adult essentials for years and my rabbits did really well on…[Read more]

Hmmm, that’s a bit strange, could he have gotten something on him? I imagine it would be hard for him to groom that area.

    Thanks for sharing the link.

Currently they have 2 large litter boxes with hay feeders over the top of them. He still uses the box but will also randomly have accidents around their pen area so unfortunately it’s not in one spot or near the boxes. We ended up reducing their space in hopes to reestablish habits, which seems to be kind of working.…[Read more]

    You know your bun best.

She will let you know, just listen.  Remember, it’s your final gift to her.

    Hugs to you.

Found a vet that actually has the vaccine in stock.

    Appointment scheduled for next Tuesday.

Is this a one shot deal or yearly?
