Update: Took Ben to the vet and she said that as long as it was not bothering him, we shouldn’t do anything. I find that weird and don’t know what to do as she is the only rabbit vet in our area. If she’s a big chewer, I recommend taking a look at the ones in the Binky Bunny store! They work great and are chew-proof. 🙂

I actually have 4! He’s my most recent. As you can see from his adorable face he’s pretty irresistible. Volunteering at the rescue was bad news for me LOL, I went from 2 rabbits to 4 in like 4 months. ha!

I think the issues is more the way you are holding him on your chest. Depending on his history, he may have been held on his back a lot (breeders tend to do this a lot).  If he is fairly vertical when on your chest, he may  be almost anticipating being flipped and kind of slip into the position easily.

Maybe there’s a mouse or something in your wall? But also bunnies just thump at things sometimes. Often they hear things we can’t that are off in the distance (or a smell wafts in on the wind).

Can you describe their set up and her interactions with her bond mate?  2 years is a bit old to be going through the teenager phase. Shy bunnies really benefit from having a lot of hides and tunnels around. One of my buns is pretty shy and wasn’t coming out to exercise until I added more hides in the exercise area.

Well Cooper is adorable..is he your only bun?

It could be that you smell like the interloper kitty and she isn’t a fan.  For a while I wasn’t allowed to pet my Mango if my hands smelled like my dog Jasmine haha.  My other bun Kiwi was like More Pets for Me!
