When there is perfect poop as well as some sticky poop, its generally known as isc, intermittent soft cecotropes. It means there’s some sort of microbial imbalance in the cecum. It’s not alarming, if it persists, the first thing to do is to try and tweak the diet, as a rule towards more hay and less pellets.
Is she eating a good amount of hay?

Hi, i woke up and found this pile of poops in my buns litter box.
They are moist, round but mushy, and very smelly. The one on the bottom is like 5 poops sticked together.
I haven’t changed pellets and my bun only eats pellets and hay. I have NO ideas what could be wrong. She is eating and behaving normally.
Could she digest anything? It only…[Read more]

I have been trying to rebond my boys in a smaller space and haven’t free roamed them since their last really bad boxing match.
I noticed my Angora is very food motivated and tends to eat his share of food and treats before my lionhead. Once he finishes his, he goes after my lionhead’s food (usually treats) and then chasing ensues… They are fine…[Read more]

So unfortunately, it is too soon to expect to be establishing firm building blocks for bonding. She needs to be spayed first and then one month after then (when hormones settle and she is recovered), you may then begin the bonding process, starting with short introductions in neutral territory:…[Read more]

It could have just been a don’t corner me maneuver, but they both had room. I noticed it before once, but I was letting them work it out more this time. Maybe I can get it on video. They both just slightly grazed the other bun. I just assumed it was common. So hard to know when this is my first pair and Dorian my first bun. They could be t…[Read more]

Good news/ bad news.
Apollo hasn’t had another seizure that we’ve seen. His bloodwork came back all clear.
The bad news is that if he does have another seizure we move on to imaging, she said the best imaging for him would be MRI which runs from around $4000. So now I’m really hoping he doesn’t have another seizure. 😬

The green pellets you were given are probably alfalfa pellets. When I got my bunny at 8 weeks last year, I gave him Timothy hay with some alfalfa hay mixed in and alfalfa pellets. Giving the mixture helped so that he didn’t resist it when he got older and was transitioned to primarily eating Timothy hay (to prevent too much calcium/bladder s…[Read more]

Hi guys,
Four days ago I brought home a female 2 month old holland lop home to accompany my 1+ year male old Netherland dwarf after he lost his friend due to illness. I need to state that Junior the little boy does not have a mean bone in his body and in fact though I’ve had him for about a year, he still doesn’t let me hold him. He gets clo…[Read more]

Hi everyone!
i recently got a 2 month old Holland Lop, female, specifically I brought her home 4 days ago. The lady I bought her from suggested I give her Timothy or orchard grass hay and the green pellets she sent some with me.
I was wondering, should I give her alfalfa hay? Although she mentioned that Timothy/ orchard would be better? How many…[Read more] -

Hi guys,
Its been 3 months and I just wanted to let you know that Sweetie ended up passing away at the emergency hospital overnight on December.. Her temperature had dropped so low that the vet said that there was a very low chance that she would make it through the night. She also took some xrays and said she had never seen a case like…[Read more]

I’ve been told once that hopping over the other rabbit is a dominance behavior as well! Unsure the legitimacy of it as I don’t see if very often at all to assess context clues.
