So good to see so many old timers still lurking! Thank you everyone for well wishes for Miu. She’s acting like nothing ever happened, though she also is very done with her meds. So glad she bounced back so quickly even if there will be some regaining her trust after we finish the meds.

OOOOH! LOL  OK, I see what you’re looking at Brunosmama. He’s broken pattern, so I would say it’s just a spot of darker pigment. At least from these pictures, that’s what it appears to be.

I think I see a mark on his bottom lip to the right. From the photos, it kind of looks like a freckle.

Oh, I’m so sorry Miu had to have liver lobe surgery! I hope she will recover well, and I’m happy to hear you caught it early. I remember Dorian’s surgery, some years ago.

It’s been a while for me too! To say this simply, things are stressful in my house and that’s all I can really say on it. I’m so sorry about Miu and the liver lobe surgery but I’m glad that she’s (I hope I remembered Mui’s sex correctly, if not then I’m super sorry) doing better! This forum really is awesome. Hope everything is going good for you all!

If there was an actual infection, then I don’t think a 3 week course is going to hurt anything. Of course, I am used to dealing with stubborn URIs and, yes, sometimes the antibiotics had to continue for weeks just to make sure the infection was resolved. GI flora is always a concern. @lBJ10 – I think she had a mild infection (excess bacteria) based on the blood panel prior to surgery.  I did call vet but receptionist basically told me their vets do not make mistakes, which is not realistic.
