Spay/Neuter
Are your bunnies spayed/neutered? Both bunnies are spayed/neutered.
If so, for how long (for each)? Tybalt for 2 years and Freya around 1 month.
If not, why not?
Are you aware of reproductive cancer risk in females? If not, please read about it here.Housing

So Winston has basically made himself at home on my bed. We did have a little battle over him peeing on it at first but now I think Ive managed to communicate to him the bed is something we can share. I have noticed he is on my bed ALL the time. I go to sleep? He hops right up there and sleeps with me. I leave for the day and come home? There he…[Read more]

He seems to be having issues again today already. I just gave him a tummy massage and a couple poops came out and then he peed on me. I gave him some simethecone and am not waiting. Hopefully he is back to normal soon.

<p style=”padding-left: 120px;”>We had a member whose bun flew LuftHansa from Kuwait to Canada a cpl years back – in cargo. 1 month home quarantine in Canada. This bun is still thriving in Canada. If you’d like to we’d be happy to put you in contact with the owner. There was no possibility of in-cabin transport, but cargo went perfectly…[Read more]

Thank you LBJ10 and sarah daiisy, I looked into both of the links posted. Unfortunately no matter which of the very few airlines that will accepts rabbits (in cabin) the real issue is that, any flight regardless of where it’s coming into the United Kingdom from, will not allow any rabbit or even cat or dog in the cabin, cargo only which.. for our…[Read more]

Hi! My bunny NEVER poops during the few hours after noon (about 12:00 to 5:00), and even hours before that, because of his pooping routine. However, today, he did a poop at a time he never does, roughly 2:00. I’m a little concerned. Is he okay?

Hi all,
After my bunny Kotton recovered from her long pout of GI stasis, we removed daily pellets and give her only once in awhile and she’s been eating hay very well. But I have always thought that she needs a buddy, so we just starting bonding her with a bunny boy this past week (loaned from his family and fingers crossed it works and he can…[Read more]

That’s a great tip! I’ll let some rescues know what I’m looking for.
I did have a good adoption interview for a single rabbit last night and they said they can speed date her with three of their male rabbits of my choice if I’m deemed suitable!
Also, I’m wondering, do two baby rabbits only need to be separated if it’s a male and female because…[Read more]

So Luna will be getting spayed this Friday. What must have items should I get to make her comfortable? She currently resides in a 4×4 playpen is that size ok for her while sh3 recovers or should I make it smaller. I will get a wash tub that she can walk in to eat and do her business in. If there is anything else I need let me know. Thanks

Totally nothing to add to the diet advice, but had to say look at that baby bunny yawn, he’s just too adorable!

At least I think that’s what he’s happening. He will be perfectly fine and then start acting weird. He’s a very social bun with us, and all of a sudden he just runs away when you approach. He also won’t eat, which isn’t always a sign as both him and Miu are difficult bunnies in that area. They eat their hay just fine, but supposedly every other…[Read more]

It can take time sometimes to find an appropriate animal in rescues, but it’s worth waiting for, even if you submit an application of interest (not all rescues will do this) and let them know you’re looking for a small bonded pair that way you’ll be one of the first people they contact. Some animals will appear on a rescue website and get adopted…[Read more]
