Thought Iād come back and close the loop on this! So, after 3-4 weeks in cage and free roam we are at the final stage! My original girl HATED! Being in the cage (normally free roam) , she went ballistic, stopped pooping and wouldnāt stop trying her best to escape, I phoned the bonder and she gave me the best advice āsheāll settle.ā my girl, I l…[Read more]

I agree with LBJ, maybe you should see a doctor.Ā If you have difficulty breathing, there are excellent meds that a doctor can prescribe. I get asthma when I get a bad cold, but I have asthma meds that I can take as needed. It’s horrible to not be able to breathe properly.
I hope you’ll soon feel better!

Are you sure it isn’t COVID? You’re talking about not being able to breathe and chest pain. Whether it’s the flu or COVID, there are antivirals available. So I don’t think it’s necessarily true to say they can’t do anything. If you are worried, you should be seen by a doctor. If they think medication will help you, then they can prescribe it.

I’ve been without heat and hot water for over a week now because housing are unable to repair the problem. I’ve now become very ill. Last night was painful and discomfort like no other. I’m able to breath properly again. I was struggling to breath with body aches all over my body and severe chest pain. I had to look for my Ibuprofen which took the…[Read more]

This sounds like a reasonable solution. Both bunnies will be cared for and there is the chance they can be reunited later.

Hey, is it OK to to share youtube links? I wanted to share this video:
I used the comb she uses in this video. She recommends this hack of weaving a rubber band through it to make it like the hair buster. I never did that personally, but I find the comb itself works nicely. Hair buster comb might work…[Read more]

I have a lionhead and the only thing that works on her when she’s having a really heavy molt is a lint roller. The hairbuster works pretty well too for other times when she’s not shedding as badly.

second hair buster. i have a “knockoff” one that was a bit cheaper, but the same design, and she really loves it. if you go the knockoff route, make sure to look at reviews š i just gave my rabbit a brushing and she was not happy when it was over, she wanted me to continue.
I want to say, I would definitely NOT recommend one of those grooming…[Read more]

I think I came up with a solution for now. My sister offered to take the older bunny as a foster. Then when we have them both spayed and they have the time to heal then we will try to bond them. They can have āmeet upsā to get used to each otherās scent again.
then if that still doesnāt work I can at least say we tried. My sister said she would k…[Read more]

I love the “Hair Buster” comb, along with hand plucking when they are really molting and lint rollers. The combo of those three tends to work well on my various rabbits. I’ve also used the kong groom zoom and it works OK but the fur goes flying all over the place which I don’t love.
