Marsh started the topic Eating like normal, but isn't really pooping? in the forum DIET & CARE 3 years ago
Minty is my younger sister’s rabbit, and is approximately 3 months old. My sister only adopted her a few days ago, at which point Minty’s poop was always very mushy and moist (they had not been feeding her adequate amounts of hay) but within a day of giving her unlimited alfalfa hay they became a mostly normal consistency and shape. Additionally,…[Read more]

It sounds like things are going VERY smoothly and you shouldn’t worry! There isn’t necessarily going to be mounting, and head wares are very normal, even in bonded pairs. I have found it’s not productive to worry about who is dominant as it’s often very hard to tell. They may not always groom each other after a grooming request, but as long as…[Read more]

It will grow out again! It might take a while if you actually accidentally did pull out “live” hair, but it will still grow out.
If you try and brush your bun every 1-2 weeks, you’ll notice if there is loose fur or not. If there isnt, just comb/brush through it briefly, pet and reward your bun to make the experience nice. Then wait another week…[Read more]

Hi everyone,
I was pulling my bun’s fur while grooming when I noticed a bald spot! I was pulling so much out and it did not look like the normal top fur (I guess it was the undercoat?). I then felt a bald area. Location of spot is his right bottom side, above his foot near his tail, where he tends to groom a lot. Skin looked normal though. Y…[Read more]

On April 6th I started my bonding journey (24/7 method) It’s been relatively decent but there’s just a couple things that have me hesitant to expand their pen (currently in a 2×2 as we’re still on the first step) . For a bit of background Arizona, my girl, is free roamed and Phoenix, my boy, is free roamed minus at night where he’s penned. Each in…[Read more]

They really shouldn’t make that much more noise than they would individually. If one cage isn’t big enough for both of them, could you attach an x-pen to one of them to give them a bit more space?
Could you remove any “noisy” toys for the night and give them more quiet things to chew?
