Ah, bunnies can be so stubborn!

Depending on how things are set up in your room, you could always put down a washable rug/towel or puppy pee pads. That might work if its just one particular spot along the wall. If he insists on peeing there, at least it will make clean up easier.

We initiated bonding procedures  yesterday and started 2025 with a second session. It’s so interesting to watch them!

Both bladder stones (larger crystals) and sludge can cause blood in urine, dark colored urine, frequent urination due to irritation, dribbling, etc. Bladder stones can potentially lead to difficulty urinating if they get big enough (blockage). Thank you so much for your response. Back when the UTI initially began in October, she was given Bactrim which she took for 3 days and her symptoms worsened and increased. I’m sorry you’re still dealing with this. Did the vet check from crystals in her urine? Larger crystals can cause irritation and sometimes blood too. And you’re sure it’s blood?

As for the cecal problem, have you tried any probiotics or a bland (i.e., hay only) diet to try to get things back on track?

Yes, she is bonded with my buck, Binky (both of my buns are spayed/neutered). He, unlike my doe, has shown no symptoms of any health-related concerns and is acting normal.
