So my bunny looks exactly like Lennon the bunny and I think she’s a dutch, but i just wanted to check.

Right now, it just looks like it’s trying to heal over. That is what a “scab” looks like on a mucus membrane, like in the mouth. As Bam said, if it suddenly starts getting bigger then there is likely an abscess growing under there. That would need antibiotics to treat.

How long ago did this happen?

I dont think you should do anything with the lip yourself. If the white spot means an abscess is forming, the lip will probably swell even more. It can happen quickly. He would then need to see a vet for antibiotics and perhaps to clean out the abscess. Maybe you could call his vet and ask for some advice seeing that…[Read more]

Hi there! So I got home today to visit my bunny at my parents place and was told he fell off the couch, it’s very low like 2 feet but I think he must have cut his lip with his teeth in the way down. He was acting totally normal though since then. They said he had a little bit of blood in the lip from the cut, not bleeding a lot or anything just l…[Read more]

Yes, good call about the scissors! I have been looking at those, as well. 🙂 Thank you!

Definitely make sure you get the round-tip scissors if you buy a pair for more tricky places!

It depends, but I personally never had trouble with the smaller clippers.

I just get them on Amazon.

As Wick said, you want to make sure your bunny doesn’t chew on whatever product you choose. My bunny will tug at the edge sometimes, but he doesn’t actually eat it.

You could also try just using a couple layers of fleece.

That’s a good idea! Do you also wash the lining under the softer blanket as well?

DanaNM replied to the topic Trio bonding… again (Myra, Bonnie, Cooper) in the forum BONDING 2 years, 8 months ago

I’ve been doing some sessions when I can and they have been mostly peaceful. Yesterday I started out with Bonnie and Cooper together for about 2 hrs. They mostly cuddled the whole time. Since they were so relaxed I decided to try adding Myra back in, and it was mostly good. Bonnie kept sleeping, Myra ignored her, and Cooper had some normal…[Read more]
