I came back to reply to this thread, but could find it. I was going to say that the one on the left definitely looked small. I’m glad switching to a regular cat litter box helped. Sometimes all the need is a bigger place to do their business.

The Oxbow senior food has alfalfa in it, so I think that would be a good thing to try. Its just a canker no pus so no abscess thank goodness!!

Right now, it just looks like it’s trying to heal over. That is what a “scab” looks like on a mucus membrane, like in the mouth. As Bam said, if it suddenly starts getting bigger then there is likely an abscess growing under there. That would need antibiotics to treat.

I dont think you should do anything with the lip yourself. If the white spot means an abscess is forming, the lip will probably swell even more. It can happen quickly.
